Mountain and River Activities teaches navigation skills in the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia National Parks, we are also a National Navigation Award Scheme Provider and Assessor (NNAS) in bronze and silver awards. We also do bespoke courses in navigation.

BRONZE AWARD

On completion of this award, participants will be able to plan and follow simple walks in the countryside mainly on paths and tracks.

Cost 2 Days £100 includes certificate and badge. Min of 6 persons.

SILVER AWARD

On completion of this award participants will be able to plan and follow walks in the countryside away from paths and tracks,additional to those of the Bronze.

Cost 2 Days £120 includes certificate and badge. Min of 6 persons.

NAVIGATION 1

Our leaders will coach you through all aspects of basic navigation from symbols, scales,grid references, measuring distance, taking bearings. The ideal course for beginners equipping you with the basic skills to explore the mountains with confidence.

Cost 1 Day £80 p.p. Based on 6 persons or more.

NAVIGATION 2

If you want to improve your navigation skills then this 2 day course covering the more advanced techniques of navigation will give you the ability to confidently find your way day or night and in bad weather conditions.
